Mrs. Jenning's Earth Science class just completed a Soil Sample Lab! 🌱🧪 Class groups tested a variety of local soils — garden soil, bog soil, topsoil, and high-ammonia soil — measuring nitrogen, lime, potash, and phosphorus levels. After comparing their findings to a pH chart, students worked to balance nutrients and create healthy, plant-ready soil. Great hands-on science in action! 🌍🌾

Nutrition & Wellness students wrapped up their homemade chips and salsa lab this week! Each kitchen group crafted their own unique salsa recipes and made both the salsa and tortilla chips from scratch.

Last week Mrs. Jennings Biology classes studied the anatomy and physiology of plants and their reproductive features. Biology classes were able to view different reproductive plant parts under the microscopes. Students viewed the structures and sketched their various plant parts, answering questions of plant origin stating similarities and differences between plant species.

Richard (Class of '84) was officially sworn in last week as the Undersecretary for Farm Production and Conservation, following his appointment by President Trump and confirmation by Congress. 🇺🇸

The ceremony was a special moment, with his wife Renee (Class of '88) by his side and fellow Class of '84 alum Brian Fenimore, now a Federal Judge, also in attendance. We even spotted Governor Kehoe in a few of the photos!
