Seniors, Elly Jincks and Trista Johnston, did a FABULOUS job creating and presenting a digital planner for the 5th grade students. 5th grade students will type in assignments, due dates, and when/if the assignments are completed. Students can show their parents/guardians their digital planner using their Chromebook.🐾🐾

SHMS received Lighthouse Certification, a prestigious award from Leader in Me. To earn this award, a school must meet several criteria such as; a school has to be a Leader in Me school for five years before applying for lighthouse certification, staff engage in ongoing learning and coaching, staff educate students of the seven habits, leadership opportunities are implemented for all students, students track, record, and analyze data, the seven habits are displayed throughout the school, and several other criteria. There are only 740 schools through out the world that are lighthouse certified. We are extremely proud of this achievement, it took everyone working together to achieve this!! SHMS celebrated with a special assembly and a fun filled afternoon!!🐾🐾
