Friday, South Harrison Alum, Richard Fordyce, came to speak to students during Bulldog Time. Mr. Fordyce is a 1984 graduate of SHHS. He spoke to students about his experiences during his time at SHHS and his life after high school with a strong message of students being able to take their time here and turn it in to whatever they want to do in life. He then participated in some great Q&A with our students.
After his graduation, Mr. Fordyce became a farmer in the area and has enjoyed a career that has taken him to several prestigious positions including being the former Director of the Missouri Department of Agriculture and being appointed to Administrator of the USDA's Farm Service Agency under former President Trump. Mr. Fordyce currently works for Osborn Barr Paramore as the Business Growth Director for Agriculture.
Thank you Mr. Fordyce for visiting with our students today!
