This week, our Bulldog family will once again come together to honor the life and spirit of Chase Beaty. Each month on the 13th, we pause to remember his kindness, joy, and the lasting impact he continues to have on our school community.
Since there is no school on Friday, we will celebrate Hat Day for Chase this Thursday, March 12th instead. Bring $1 and wear your favorite hat in his memory. All proceeds support the Chase Beaty Memorial Scholarship, helping carry Chase’s legacy forward.

The South Harrison R-II School District is excited to welcome our newest Bulldogs! 🐾💜 If your child will be enrolling in NEW Preschool (4-year-old) or Kindergarten for the 2026/2027 school year, it’s time to schedule their screening!

🗓 Screening Dates:
• Monday, April 6, 2026
• Friday, April 24, 2026

📍 Location: South Harrison Early Childhood Center (during school hours)

⏱ What to Expect:
Screenings take about 30 minutes and will assess your child’s development in motor skills, concepts, and language. Parents are asked to stay during the screening.

📌 Please bring (required):
✅ Birth certificate
✅ Up-to-date immunization record
✅ Proof of residency (utility bill, lease agreement, mortgage statement, or bank statement)

⭐️ Families of 3-year-old students are welcome to stop by and pick up an enrollment form—just bring the same required documentation listed above.

Pink or Blue… what will it be?! 💗💙

Our 4-year-old preschoolers had the BEST time celebrating Miss Karlee’s big surprise! They made their predictions by creating a graph to vote “boy” or “girl,” then popped pink and blue confetti balloons to see what would happen! 🎈✨👶

The fun didn’t stop there! They enjoyed blue juice and even mixed up some “mystery frosting” that magically turned blue! 💙🧁 Such a sweet way to celebrate and sneak in a little learning, too!

❄️ 4-Year-Old Preschool families, snow and ice are here! Starting December 8, 2025, all drop-offs and pick-ups will be upstairs. Please wait until you are pulled up in front of the building so students don’t have to walk far in the cold or on icy spots. Look for the orange cones marking the designated area.
