South Harrison High School is gearing up for one of the most spirited weeks of the year—Homecoming 2025: Battle of the Bulldogs! Beginning next week, students, staff, alumni, and the entire community are invited to join in the excitement as we celebrate Bulldog pride with fun traditions, friendly competition, and plenty of purple and white spirit.

Dress-Up Days Build the Excitement
Homecoming week kicks off with themed dress-up days that give everyone a chance to show their school spirit in creative ways:

  • Monday: Young vs. Old (Kids vs. Senior Citizens)

  • Tuesday: Country vs. Country Club (Redneck vs. Preppy)

  • Wednesday: Beach vs. Mountains (Warm vs. Cold)

  • Thursday: Teachers vs. Students (Swap Day!)

  • Friday: Purple & White Day (Bulldog Spirit!)

Students and staff are encouraged to participate each day as we lead up to the big weekend of events.

This year’s Homecoming Court includes an outstanding group of students representing their classes and fall activities:

Key Events to Know
The week is packed with exciting events for students and the community to enjoy:

  • Coronation & Pep Rally: Wednesday, Sept. 24 at 7pm on the football field, with a pep rally immediately following.

  • Parade & Pep Rally: Friday, Sept. 26 at 2pm at the square—show your Bulldog spirit and cheer on the floats!

  • Homecoming Game: Friday, Sept. 26 at 7pm, with the Homecoming Court introduced at 6:30pm before kickoff. SH Bulldogs take on the Trenton Bulldogs!

  • Homecoming Dance: Saturday, Sept. 27 from 7–10pm in the HS Commons.

Fundraiser Fun: Window and Paw Print Painting
The Junior Class After Prom Parents are adding even more color to Homecoming week with their window and paw print painting fundraiser! Businesses can get their windows decorated or a Bulldog paw print painted to show support and school spirit—all while helping fund the Junior/Senior After Prom. Contact Tiffany Johnson to get your business on the list for a painting and be part of the Bulldog Homecoming pride!

Join the Celebration
Homecoming is a time to celebrate our school spirit, honor Bulldog traditions, and bring the community together. Whether you’re dressing up for spirit days, cheering at the pep rally, or supporting the Bulldogs under the Friday night lights, there’s something for everyone during Homecoming 2025: Battle of the Bulldogs!
