Early Childhood Center Welcome
Welcome! The Early Childhood Center is based on the belief that a sound education begins with a strong foundation. Our center houses several early childhood programs; one of which, is the Parents As Teachers program, our educators partnership with parents giving them support, information, and resources to enhance that experience.
We also have an Early Childhood Special Education Program. This is a program for children 3 and 4 years old that have shown indications of developmental delays. The program provides small group instruction for the students. In addition to the Early Childhood Special Education Program other services provided, as needed, are speech, occupational and physical therapies.
Our Title I Preschool Program for 4 year olds promotes social/behavioral and academic readiness skills. Each class is two days a week, 3 hour classes with a limit of 15 students per class. Also offered second semester of each school year is a Monday intervention class. This class has a limit of ten students and repeats and reinforces the skills that have been taught throughout the week.
